Karl Weidner

Personal Experience

Karl Weidner brings more than 50 years of executive leadership, strategy, operations, and commercial real estate experience to the BBA Board of Advisors. Karl spent 31 years at Cincinnati Bell, where he held a series of senior leadership roles within Cincinnati Bell Wireless. During his tenure, Karl helped launch one of the most successful PCS wireless carriers in the country, expanded into and grew the Dayton market to $48 million in annual revenue, and oversaw operations responsible for more than $550 million in consumer-product sales.

Today, Karl is Managing Partner and Principal Broker of Property Development Associates Company, LLC, a Cincinnati commercial real estate firm he founded after leaving Cincinnati Bell.  The firm specializes in tenant and buyer representation. He also serves as President of SwimSafe Pool Management, Inc., which manages swim and tennis club, country club, and municipal pools across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. Karl earned his BS in Management from the University of Cincinnati. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Cellular Telephone Industry Association (CTIA), chaired the Supervisory Committee of Cintel Federal Credit Union, and currently serves on the Governing Board of Beech Acres Parenting Center.

Karl’s network, built over five decades in the Cincinnati business community, shows consistent demonstration of leadership in telecom, commercial real estate, and civic boards — is among the deepest in the region. He volunteers with The Salvation Army’s “Army Behind the Army” and lives in Cincinnati.
